One Texquest workshop that I went to was for Teaching Books (.net). Northside has access for teachers. You can use their log in but also set up as a teacher so that you can save and send links to other teachers, parents, and students!

Here is a list I made with my favorite books. Click on icon to go to the site

Well it’s that time of year again, the push to get Professional Development hours. Northside has started their Engagement Academy and I am taking Library session.

Today I learned about using Autocrat and Form Mule with Google Forms

and Google sheets. We also had some suggestions about how to use Google Forms in the Library.

I also had STEMtastic which showed how to add STEM and Reading activities in the library and our classrooms. Some great fairy tale activities and links to find more.

My team had the Humpty Dumpty activity and we had to come with way he won’t get broken. They didn’t want to do it so I came up with idea on my own, not bad if I say so myself!

I am at Region 20 getting some training for my future librarian job! Learning so much that I wished I had known about as a teacher!

So far great Ideas from TeachingBooks and EBSCO ebooks that I can use in the coming school year. As a librarian these are both great resources to promote the school library with teachers, parents, and students. They have options to share specific books and content for what I am doing or just to show what the sites can be used for.

I can‘t wait to use these this year!
