About Miss Dudley
My Dad was in the Air Force so most of my life I have traveled around the United States and the World. I have lived in Germany, Japan, Alaska, Maryland, and Texas. My travels have included most of the 50 states except for Hawaii and some states in the Northeast. I have also been to Italy (Rome, Florence, Pisa), Austria, and England.

I graduated high school in Anchorage, Alaska and traveled with my Dad to San Antonio when he had his last assignment and retired. I went to the University of Texas at San Antonio and received my teaching degree from them. After graduation I moved to Houston to teach in Galena Park (east Houston) at Woodland Acres Elementary for 4 years.

In 2002 I moved back to San Antonio and have been teaching in Northside ISD for over 10 years. My first school was Steubing Elementary for seven years, one year at Westwood Terrace Elementary, Oak Hills Terrace Elementary for 9 years, and 2 years at Henderson Elementary. I have taught about half my years in third grade and half my years in second grade with 2 years in first grade.
Growing up my mom was a pubic librarian for Prince Georges County in Maryland and in Anchorage, Alaska. Books were commonly seen being read whether it was at bed time by my parents to myself and my brothers, or my parents reading on their own. I spent a lot of time with my mom in the library during my time off during the summer and after school. My love for books started then and just grew! It only made sense that my love of books translated into my wanting to be a librarian. Currently I am graduating from the University of North Texas for school librarian and my plans are to some day become a librarian.

My hobbies include web design, coloring in adult coloring books, crafting (painting, paper flowers, zentangles), and reading, reading, and more reading! My Dad and Stepmother live in San Antonio and my oldest brother lives in New Jersey with his family. My youngest brother's son and my nephew Sage lives in Colorado.
